About the Awards
O.U.R. HR Awards are the result of the association's work, its Board, and all members who year after year contribute to knowledge sharing and community networking. These awards are an opportunity to highlight individuals, teams, and leaders whose work contributes to a healthier and more humane business environment.
Awards are given based on measurable results, innovation, and real impact on organizations and the HR community in the region.
Five Categories
Award Categories
HR LEAD OF THE YEAR
Exceptional HR leaders in top positions who have made a significant impact on organization and culture. Candidates must be at C-level or leading HR positions for more than 2 years.
HR TEAM OF THE YEAR
Teams that have collectively contributed to improving HR function through innovation and measurable impact. Team must have a minimum of 3 people from the HR department.
HR EXPERT OF THE YEAR
HR experts who have left a strong mark through innovative ideas and strategic contribution, but are not in managerial positions. Minimum 2 years at current company.
NEXT GEN HR
Young HR professionals under 30 years old who have already made a significant contribution through innovative ideas and energy. Minimum one year of work experience.
PEOPLE-FIRST CEO
CEO who stands out for their people-first approach and engagement in HR strategy. CEO must be employed at the company for a minimum of 2 years.

Eligibility
Criteria and Rules
Who can be nominated?
All candidates and teams from companies operating in the following territories are eligible for nomination:
- Serbia
- Croatia
- Montenegro
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- North Macedonia
- Slovenia
What must a nomination contain?
- Brief biography/narrative of the candidate or team
- Key initiatives and achievements for the previous year (exclusively for 2025)
- Measurable results and impact - indicators such as increased employee engagement, number of completed projects, time or financial savings
- Recommendations or testimonials from colleagues, clients, or other relevant participants
Selection Process
- The O.U.R. HR Association Board selects 3 finalists per category by secret vote (rating 1-5)
- Finalists are announced on the website and social media channels
- All active O.U.R. HR Club members vote for winners (each company has one vote)
- Winners are announced at the O.U.R. HR Conference on April 21, 2026
